Here are some tips that you need to follow during your fitness period.
1- Commit for the long-term:
Most people workout with a short-term mindset with a goal to lose 40 pounds in 12 weeks and as they get this goal they left practicing it now WHAT! "weight gain", however, I think that we must first concern about our health. Our goal shouldn't be to lose some pounds of weight in particular weeks however it should be to regain our health for the rest of your life. So think about your health, ignore short-term results and commit for the long-term process, the results will come anyway because hard work always pays off.
2- Set a schedule for your training process:
Most people never workout routinely because they might think that when they are going to train next "I am so tired when I get home from work and, I don't have any free time to exercise daily". This kind of thoughts stops us to live a healthy and fit life. Stop treating exercise as something that is impossible in my life. Don't think that when I am going to train? Just set a schedule for yourself and follow it like every Monday, Wednesday, Friday I am going to workout at 6 pm.
3- Focus on the best exercises:
Always focus on the best exercises that benefit a lot to your health and to yourself. Find the best exercises according to your need.
4-Start from light and easy training:
Start with the lightweight equipment and then make slow progress, slowly start increasing the weight each week. But don't start with heavy weights and hard training so that you'll get tired early, first, you've to build a foundation of strength for yourself, your workouts must be easy in the beginning.
5- Record your training:
Get a pen and a notebook and record your workouts in order to track your long-term progress and hard work that you've done to live a healthy and fit life.
