1- 8 chicken drumsticks
2- 1/4 cup hot pepper sauce
3- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
4- 2 tablespoons Cornflakes crushed
5- 1/2 teaspoon salt
6- 3 cups vegetable oil for frying
1- Place chicken in a resealable plastic bag. Pour sauce over chicken, seal bag, and refrigerate to marinate for at least 1 hour.
2- Heat oil in a deep-fryer.
3- Combine the flour, cornmeal, and salt in another resealable plastic bag. Add the drumsticks, seal bag, and shake to coat.
4- Fry the chicken, uncovered, for 25 to 30 minutes or until juices run clear.
5- Turn occasionally to brown evenly.
6- Remove from the oil and drain on paper towel.
7- Delicious Fire Cracker Fried Chicken is ready to serve. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
