Moods of cats

How the behaviour of cats tells about their different moods?

Moods of cats

Cat's tails

Cats have many different moods, by understanding their moods we can spend quality time with our sweet little companions. Let's talk about the tail, if your cat's tail is raised and curved at the end it means your cat is happy, congrats! You are already a friend with your cat. If your cat twitches it's tail occasionally it means it is excited or worried about something or your cat is in pain maybe its time to visit a vet. If the fur on the tail just out it means your cat is threatened. When it vibrates it's tail slightly it means the cat is agitated or glad to see you it also means that your cat is excited or waiting for something, for instance, for a treat. The tail lowered to the ground means your cat is guilty of something.

Cats express a lot through their eyes also, the dilated pupils show strong feelings such as playfulness or agitation, in case the house is new for your cat it dilates its pupil as a sign that it's not used to the new place yet. A direct look, if a cat looks directly in eyes it means it trusts you and is comfortable being around you. A slow blink indicates that your pet is calm and comfortable, sometimes while blinking slowly, it may even purr.

Their interaction with people

The interaction of cats with people show a lot about their current mood, If your cat rubs against you it is marking you as its territory and property. Poking with the wet nose is an expression of attachment, it indicates your cat feels comfortable and safe being around you. When a cat rubs its head or tail against you it is just a sign of saying hello. If a cat licks you its a definite sign that your cat trusts you and considers you a part of its family. When your cat bits you take it as a sign that your cat wants to be left alone on the other hand light biting in your cat, is just playing with you.

Learn cat language

If we want to understand a little more we have to learn the cat language , cats generally greet people or announce their presence with a short sound , lengthy meowing means that your cat is very glad to see you this occurs if you were away from home for a long time, a medium-length meow might be requested for water or food , a low meow is a complaint or indication of dissatisfaction . Also, it might mean your cat ready to fight. a loud sound often indicates an urgent demand. A  vibrating sound indicates a desire for seeking attention. Cats purr for various reasons, but more often they do it when they are happy.

Communication with cats

Now there are three important tips to communicate with your cats better. How make your cat trust you?  Lower your cat to the ground, make sure its paws reached the floor. How to stroke your cat? If you sit on the floor with crossed legs, your cat will interpret this as a friendly gesture and come up to you. How to make your cat appear? A cat may go and hide and only appears when it's alone or hear a calm voice.
