Royal Couple had arrived

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived in Pakistan on Monday. They Royal couple arrived in Pakistan at the Nur Khan air base in Rawalpindi right after 9:30pm. They were received by Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and his wife Mehreen Qureshi at the airport. 


Red carpet welcome and with two young children in traditional dress who presents Kate middleton and Prince William with beautiful bouquet.  Some rickshaw drivers in Lahore and Rawalpindi painted their vehicles with the Pakistani and British flags. The duchess looked elegant in a shalwar kameez - a traditional Pakistani outfit by British designer Catherine Walker.

Meetings and Visits

The couple was welcomed at Aiwan-i-Sadr by President Arif Alvi and his wife Samina Arif. Duke & Duchess of Cambridge arrive at PM House Islamabad on Tuesday, PM Imran Khan welcomed the guests. PM Imran Khan hosted them at lunch in Islamabad today.

At Aiwan-i-Sadr the president commended the visiting dignitaries for their endeavors to raise awareness about mental health, climate change, and poverty alleviation. The Duke of Cambridge thanked the president for the warm welcome. The royal couple appreciated the initiatives undertaken by Pakistan's government to combat climate change and to alleviate poverty. Than the Royal Couple visit to a school: Margalla Trail 5. 

After visiting the school, they arrived at Trail 5, Margalla Hills to attend an event regarding environmental protection. Strict security arrangements were made. "In the Margalla Hills, which is located in foothills of the Himalayas, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge joined children from four local schools. This five-day visit will end on 18 October as it was planned.
